Release notes
MBOVerse POS v1.0.7.7 introduces a redesigned modern desktop login experience with improved MBOVerse branding, clearer form layout, password visibility control, Caps Lock warning, cloud connection status, safer validation messages, and duplicate-submit protection. A new Start Free Trial option has also been added, opening the official MBOVerse POS trial page in the user’s default browser. This release includes all improvements from previous v1.0.7.x versions, including SIMPLE/ADVANCED operating modes, streamlined checkout, inline payments, credit handling, receipt options, counter/session improvements, automatic SIMPLE document sequencing, quick-add Category/Supplier/Terminal workflows, and responsive POS billing layout.
Known issues
No known critical issues in v1.0.7.7. Minor visual differences may occur depending on Windows display scaling, custom DPI settings, or unusually small screen resolutions. External browser opening for the Free Trial option depends on a valid default browser being configured in Windows.
Upgrade instructions
Close MBOVerse POS before upgrading. Use the in-app Update Now option when the update notification appears, or run MBOVerse-POS-Setup-v1.0.7.7.exe over the existing installation. Uninstallation is not required. Existing cloud data, business configuration, production API settings, printer configuration, receipt preferences, and local safe preferences are preserved. After installation, launch MBOVerse POS and confirm the application version is 1.0.7.7.
