MBOVerse POS v1.0.7.9 introduces a new optional Restaurant/KOT module together with major cashier workspace improvements. Retail POS and Restaurant POS now open in a dedicated full-screen focus workspace, providing more room for products, cart, totals, payments, and primary actions. Restaurant/KOT support includes Dine-In, Takeaway/Self Pickup, Delivery, tables, waiter/server context, kitchen stations, Send to Kitchen, incremental multiple KOTs, kitchen status handling, and KOT print support. Dark Mode readability has also been improved across product search, inputs, tables, cart, payment fields, selected states, and Restaurant/KOT screens. KOT remains disabled by default, so existing Retail customers continue with their current workflow unless the Restaurant/KOT feature is explicitly enabled.
Known issues
No known critical issues. Restaurant/KOT functionality is available only for businesses where KOT is explicitly enabled. FBR Digital Invoicing remains disabled for existing production tenants and is not activated by this release. Minor visual differences may occur with unusual Windows display scaling or custom DPI settings outside the validated screen profiles.
Upgrade instructions
Close MBOVerse POS before upgrading. Use the in-app update notification and select Update Now, or run MBOVerse-POS-Setup-v1.0.7.9.exe over the existing installation. Do not uninstall the previous version first. Existing production API configuration, theme, printer configuration, safe local preferences, and cloud business data are preserved. This is an optional update with mandatory=false; users who select Later may continue using v1.0.7.8. After installation, launch MBOVerse POS and confirm the version is 1.0.7.9.
